Or, if you're like me, spend it by myself. On the Internet there are many websites that help a guy find their lady a perfect gift for Valentines Day, but there are not that many that will help ladies out there find a perfect gift for their man. Breakfast In Bed

This may be used more for women, but I think men would like the treat of breakfast in bed - especially if you pull out all the stops. Cook what he likes, and add a personal touch to it. If he likes a cooked breakfast do it how he likes it. Does he like the eggs hard or soft? You never know he may even share breakfast with you, and make it a sexy breakfast.

Experience Day

There are loads of these about now, but I would only recommend getting your guy something like this if he actually likes what you plan to get him. Things like bungee jumping you may not know because it doesn't come up in ordinary conversation,but you will know yourself whether he is a daring, adventurous man and would enjoy it. If he loves cars, send him to drive a Ferrari or rallying for the day.

Book/CD/Game/DVD

Most men, if not all, would like either a book, CD, DVD or a game for their favourite console. I have known men to actually prefer something like this because they don't want to cause you to go to any effort, as some men like to be the ones to spoil the lady. Advice here is to buy something that they like again, because there is nothing worse than getting something you don't want. On the same note, if you're buying a DVD, buy one that he'll watch, and not a romantic comedy because you think it will be good.

Some men are into their champagne, and would love a quality bottle of champagne to spend with their loved one on Valentines Day evening. You will probably have to research into what one he likes, because champagne can be lovely if you like it, but pick one that isn't nice and you've blown it.

Home Cooked Meal

Men love food. Home made cooking can win a man's heart and make him fall in love with you more. He'll love the effort you've put in, especially if you're not known for your culinary abilities, and if it tastes good, he'll love the fact you've cooked him something nice. You will know what cuisine your guy likes, but if you're stuck, try Italian. A lot of the dishes can be made romantic, and the ingredients used are perfect. You can combine this idea with the idea above, have dinner in a candle lit room with champagne - perfect combination.

Buy Him A Puppy

As they say dogs are a mans best friend. Your man may like a new addition to the family, that doesn't involve a baby. It can be really fun for a couple to have a puppy, because they are fun to be around and they will make you laugh - and of course they are very lovable. A tip though, research the type of dog you want and check the breeder out to make sure they are proper breeders.

Romantic Break

Got some dosh or just really love your man and want to treat him? Take him away for the weekend and tell him how much you love and appreciate him. Some men love being spoilt, while others may not.
