Celebrity Dog Names - Some Cute, Clever And Rather Stupid Ones
65
Dogs are a person's best friend - we love them, take them out, even clear up after them, and we may call them some cute, soppy name. For a few years now, dogs have become a celebrities headline grabber, as they either call them a stupid name, or take them out to the strangest of places. Not all celebrities do this, however, and I thought I'd give you a list of celebrity dog names, with the identified celebrity, and let you decide whether it's cute, clever or just rather stupid.
Celebrity Dog Names:
Autumn, Shatzie, Varmit, Rudy, Muffy, Honey, Biggest, Chipper, Daisy - Just a few of Doris Day's dogs' names.
Schlubber - Marlon Brando
Phearless - Phyllis Diller
Atticus and Boo Radley - Jake Gyllenhaal
Martha Stewart - Ben Afleck
Boris & Piglet - Kelly Osborne
Clown & Joker - Don Rickles
Bit Bit - Britney Spears
Louie - Adele
Bess - Sienna Miller
Tucker & Delilah - Charlize Theron
Jack - Mariah Carey for her Jack Russell dog.
Honeychild & Cleopatra - Nicole Richie
Tinkerbell - Paris Hilton
Bo - The Obama's
I did warn you! The sweetest in my opinion has to be Bo - The Obama's dog. You can find a picture of him here.
As for the others, most of the names are a bit odd, though on the other hand they are quite reserved for some of the celebrities mentioned. I do wonder though how long it took many of them to come up with their dogs' names. Apparently Adele was going to call her dog, Louie, Britney after she was at a Britney Spears concert. Thank god she didn't!
So which of these celebrity dog names do you like, detest or may even consider calling your dog one of them?

Some of these are really cute! I'm just now thinking about maybe getting a dog (and I have much more thinking to do before I would commit myself to it) but I'm already dreaming up names! Bit Bit is actually one of my favorites - as long as it's a small dog! (No Saint Bernards running around as Bit Bit... that would be strange...)
Thanks for the wonderful, entertaining Hub!
